The weather is cold the past two days. lows around freezing. My birds are cold.

I just saw the old pine tree in back get sawed down. It was probably 150 years old. It died a few months ago, most likely because the pesky workers were digging around the gas lines about 25 feet away. A stately old tree it was. As soon as it hit the ground of course I could feel the ground vibrate. my apt. is (was) about 30 yards from my place).
